Horse first. Always.

Our mission is to develop sound, confident sport horses through relationship-based training, biomechanical correctness, and uncompromising care—prioritizing longevity, trust, and excellence in every partnership.

Performance and Soundness

For the Modern Sport Horse

At the heart of our work is a belief that true equine wellness comes from supporting the whole horse: body, mind, training history, and environment. For over a decade, we have helped dressage and jumping horses regain soundness, confidence, and clarity through thoughtful, individualized care.

Our approach blends equine ethology, evolving veterinary research, and trainer expertise, with an intuitive understanding of how posture, movement, and the nervous system affect performance. We specialize in horses often labeled as “difficult,” “sensitive,” or struggling with so-called mystery or body lameness. Many of whom arrive as last-resort cases and go on to lead meaningful lives, successful in their work and competition.

By restoring balance and correct movement, we help develop resilient, willing sport horses and partnerships built on trust, longevity, and harmony.

  • Leaving your horse in someone else’s care is never easy, especially when your horse has rare and unexpected health issues that require a different approach to the typical sport horse - but KD Dressage was exceptional from the very start. My mare was sent for rest, recovery, post-op care, rehab and monitoring following an extensive veterinary hospital lay-up that raised more questions than answers. The level of attentiveness was unlike anything I had experienced—every small change noticed, patterns carefully tracked, and the horse truly watched rather than managed by assumption - exactly what I was desperate for. Their constant care, depth of experience, openness, and willingness to observe without preconceived conclusions made all the difference. That careful, knowledgeable horsemanship ultimately confirmed what Lucy needed and set her on the right path. Since then, her care has been meticulous, intuitive, and deeply thoughtful, and her recovery has been remarkable. I am profoundly grateful for the skill, patience, and genuine horsemanship behind everything KD Dressage does.
